The Fondo Quellaveco is a US$ 10 million trust that functions since 2011 to finance sustainable development projects aimed at improving the living standards in Moquegua. The initiatives financed by this fund are focused on health, nutrition, economic and production development, education, and the strengthening of Moquegua’s institutions. In all, more than 25,000 people have benefited from the Fondo Quellaveco.
